The movie called Tampopo is about making the best noodle. But in between the main story of the movie, there were small stories in between but they all seemed to have something in common. It was story on their lives but all seemed to have food related to their lives. The movie almost made Japanese people look obsessed with food and almost seem to make up most of their lives. One of the small stories that i remember the most is the scene where the wife is about to die and the husband in attempt to keep her alive even for a little bit asks her to cook and she gets right up to cook. It is like a duty for the woman to cook and man to eat what she made. The children and the husband eat the very last meal with tears. Even the whole movie is about making the best noodle and doing whatever it took to achieve the goal. The movie showed a lot of incidents in relation to food, of what can be done and happen with food.
